Tactical emergency casualty care (Tecc)
TECC COURSE:
The following TECC course are offered to address the needs of providers and LEO’s:
Provider Course: 16-hour course for EMTs, Paramedics, Law Enforcement and other prehospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as TECC providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit. This course is offered as a classroom course. Two 8 hour days.
*Includes all new patient simulations and covers topics like. Hot Zone/Direct threat care. Warm Zones/Indirect threat. Cold Zone/Evacuation.
*Hemorrhage control. Surgical Airway. As well as Needle Decompression.
*Mass Casualty/Active Shooter Simulation and much more.
